I used to love creating things when I was a teenager, and as I grew up, life got in the way and I found myself too buried in day-to-day life to find any time for it. This all changed in 2020 when lockdowns hit the world, and I suddenly found myself with more time than I knew what to do with. During that time, I moved in with my girlfriend and, for fun, began working on a display of our favourite musicians for our living room. I showed my friends, one thing led to another, and Linochromatic was born.

I still have a full time job, so I spend most of my spare time painting. I struggle with mental illness, and bringing canvases to life really helps me keep racing thoughts under control, keep calm, and generally achieve a much better level of balance in my life. I find myself creating all kinds of art for people who not only want to display it proudly in their homes, but are happy to pay for the privilege! It's truly a dream come true and something I never, ever thought could happen to me.
